Our Story

As a dentist since 2000, Dr. Kwon witnessed firsthand how many patients were struggling with the limitations of dentures, unable to smile confidently or chew properly for a healthy diet. This realization ignited his commitment to delivering the best possible care for denture sufferers, using the most advanced surgical and restoration protocols. 

Dr. Kwon’s journey into the world of dental implants began early in his career. After seven years of practicing general dentistry for families, he recognized the transformative power of dental implants in dramatically improving patients' lives. In 2007, he embarked on his dental implant training journey, beginning in Chicago. 

However, his thirst for knowledge and excellence soon led him beyond the United States in search of the most hands-on and practical dental implant education available. Dr. Kwon traveled extensively to South Korea and Vietnam, where he participated in live surgery courses. These experiences allowed him to learn and immediately implement the most modern techniques and protocols for single and multiple dental implant restorations. His training covered challenging cases such as restoring anterior teeth, where aesthetics are paramount, and treating upper posterior teeth involving the maxillary sinus—often requiring advanced sinus bone grafting procedures to re-establish a strong foundation for dental implants. 

As Dr. Kwon continued to see more patients with multiple missing teeth, he noticed a growing number of denture sufferers and patients in terminal dental stages visiting his clinic. These cases required a next-level treatment protocol capable of replacing the entire mouth with a full arch restoration. 

Dr. Kwon was determined to find the best surgical and restorative protocols to meet this growing need, and this is how No More Rocking Denture was born. Through his in-depth research, Dr. Kwon discovered the European-born All-on-4 dental implant concept, developed by Dr. Paulo Malo in Portugal. He realized that this treatment protocol was the best solution for his patients and a more cost-effective alternative to traditional methods. While traditional full-mouth restoration with multiple crowns and bridges could cost nearly $100,000 and take over a year to complete, the All-on-4 concept offered a more affordable and efficient solution. 

With his new mission and a relentless drive to overcome obstacles, Dr. Kwon began incorporating his 15 years of traditional dental implant experience with the All-on-4 full arch restoration concept. His quest for excellence took him across Europe, where he sought the best teachers and immersed himself in the sophisticated surgical and restorative protocols of countries like Portugal, Italy, Spain, and Brazil. 

At our No More Rocking Dentures, Dr. Kwon's mission is to help as many patients as possible by returning his fully developed knowledge and skills to the United States. This is how our story at No More Rocking Denture began at Dental Care of Round Lake Beach in Illinois. Dr. Kwon’s lifelong philosophy of "never-ending improvement"—a principle that played a key role in revitalizing Japan after the atomic bombing—continues to guide him today as he strives to revitalize patients' lives with the All-on-4 full arch smile restoration.
